Q: How do I start?
A: The first step is to get a box of cards, available at our store. Open the box
and see which quests you find. Then have fun completing them and surprising
others with acts of kindness!
Q: What if a certain act of
kindness isn't appropriate for me?
A:
Each card has a Quest and a Suggestion. The Suggestion is just one idea for how
you might complete the Quest. If a certain Suggestion doesn't work for you, feel
free to be creative and find another way to complete that Quest. The important
thing is that you do something you feel good about.
Q: What if I have already completed some of the
cards that I opened in this box?
A: You can give them to or swap them with someone who hasn’t yet completed
those quests.
Q: Some of the cards tell me to keep passing them
on when I’ve completed the Quest. How do I add those cards to my collection?
A: If you completed the Quest and passed on the card, you can keep the second
copy you open for your collection.
Q: Some of the cards tell me
to give the card to a friend when I’ve completed the Quest. How do I add those
cards to my collection?
A: The only way to collect these is to have your friends complete them and give
them to you. It becomes much easier and more fun if you play Angel Quest with
friends.
Q: Why do some of these ‘acts
of kindness’ seem to benefit only myself?
A:
We believe one of the most powerful ways to help
others is to lead by example. Or, as Mahatma Gandhi said, "You must become the
change you wish to see in the world." The idea of these cards is that instead of
you telling others how to improve their lives, you show them how by improving
your own life.
Q: What do the titles “Highest
Angel, Sacred Angel, etc.” mean?
A: Some angels have reached higher levels than others. But all their quests
are equally important.
Q: What does the card color
and “Beauty/Hope/Love/Strength/Wisdom” circle mean?
A: Each circle has different kinds of Quests:
Beauty: Quests of nature, enjoyment of life, and surprises.
Hope: Quests of lifting others up and helping those in need.
Love: Quests of personal relationships and reaching out with one’s heart.
Strength: Quests of community, perseverance, and social change.
Wisdom: Quests of personal growth, education, and understanding.
Q: Some of the cards say
“Rare” at the bottom. What does that mean?
A: These cards are harder to get than the others. Each box of ten cards
contains only two rares. The quests on rares usually require more effort to
complete than other cards.
Q: What's the difference between
the different colors of card boxes?
A:
The different colors are just for fun. There's no difference in the contents.
Every box, even boxes of the same color, has a different random assortment of
cards.
